Access to the Health Service

The university health team composed of doctors and nurses is responsible for carrying out the following tasks and activities:

Apply university health guidelines.
Establish forecasts for medication, pharmaceutical products and technical equipment.
Establish the university health map.
Evaluate the activities of university medical centers.
Ensure the follow-up of chronically ill or hospitalized patients
Organize and develop health education themes.
Identify existing health problems in the university environment and take the necessary measures.

Objectives

Health coverage is a set of preventive and curative activities undertaken in university establishments in favor of students. Management of health problems with the development of a psycho-social action in favor of the student population, with the aim of promoting the physical and mental health of students and allowing them a good integration into student life.

It is a systematic medical examination of the target students. This is a real balance sheet of the student's state of health, the results and observations of which are recorded in the medical file, which constitutes a valuable technical document for the student throughout the study period. The objective is to detect affections, handicaps and defects at an early stage, for the care.

All students must benefit from a medical consultation and routine care on request.

Restaurants and pavilions.

The control and monitoring of the quality of foodstuffs are of vital interest at the level of university residences where the restoration system is collective, which requires the preparation of meals for a large number of people generally served at the same time. Thus, any lack of hygiene can have unfortunate consequences for the health of students.

Staff handling foodstuffs must be trained in good personal and clothing hygiene habits. These personnel must undergo periodic medical check-ups. No person suspected or known to have respiratory disease or other transmissible infections or infected wounds should be allowed to participate in food handling
